Utility:
A large utility firm uses Enline services and solutions to address massive helpdesk costs associated with password resets. User frustration meant that passwords were being logged manually resulting in increased security risks, with multiple passwords to remember the only number users felt they needed was the helpdesk. The implementation resulted in user convenience, increased security and reduced costs.
NHS: Large NHS Teaching Hospital
One of the UK largest NHS teaching hospitals uses Enline to help them face a problem creating unnecessary stress and frustrations for both students and teachers alike. By installing an Application Virtualisation Platform, Enline helped them to transparently stream large applications from a shared network drive, with no client or server software to install, enabling applications to be run “off-line” on the PC. Benefits included stronger security, increased work-force mobility, enhanced business continuity, improved disaster recovery and reduced costs.
Local Government: Large Welsh Council
As part of the Code of Connection strategy applied to local government, there is a minimum set of security standards that organisations are required to adhere to. A large Welsh council brought in Enline to help them achieve Single Sign On as part of the overall strategy and ensure compliance was achieved.

Following a directive that every employee from the shop floor to the top of the tree were to be provided access to core applications through the network, there was a dramatic increase in IT use that highlighted issues of access control and management. With users accessing many separate applications the complex password policy put a strain on the IT support staff and caused frustration for all involved. They needed to find a smart and affordable solution to alleviate the problem. After evaluating a number of single sign-on solutions, one of the UK’s leading media companies chose Enline to deliver against these requirements. Prior to Enline’s intervention, password resets were taking anything up to 2 weeks, now the problem has been addressed it can take less than 30 seconds, and a strong password policy has been easily applied and is adhered to automatically.
Financial Services: Global Bank
One of the top banks in the world worked with Enline to improve their compliance performance and overall risk posture. Enline delivered an identity governance solution and within 60 days, the bank had launched a fully-automated access certification process across 29 SOX-relevant applications. The deployment included cleansing and centralising identity data for over 25,000 users.
Insurance and Financial Services: A Global 100 Leader
A European-based insurance and financial services provider automated their access control review and reporting process with Enline. By streamlining user access reviews for more effective and sustainable compliance, they dramatically increased the accuracy of user and entitlement data and are now better equipped to meet the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley.
Telecommunications: Major European Telco
A major European telecommunications company used Enline solutions and services to aggregate and correlate user and account data across 150 enterprise data sources, 500,000+ entitlements and 3,000 reviewers. This customer has simplified the access review process by defining a high-level role model which incorporates business-friendly entitlement descriptions. And, they've implemented advanced policies to quickly scan and detect SoD violations between enterprise applications keeping them compliant with demanding compliance requirements.
Police: Metropolitan Police
The Metropolitan Police purchased solutions and services from Enline to implement a new identity management infrastructure across all their new applications, to provide a common sign on for all users. The service was successfully rolled out to over 45,000 Police Offices, providing a simpler yet more secure sign on process.
Police: Sussex Police
Operation Crackdown – multi agency project to address abandoned vehicles in Sussex is using Enline solutions and services to support inter agency working and helping streamline the process. The infrastructure provides secure access to the system based upon who and how they are accessing the application. Enline skills, knowledge and methodology to tackle complex problems was key to ensuring the success of the project.
Health: Addenbrookes Hospital
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust used Enline solutions and services to roll out single sign-on technology to enable its clinical staff to log on to their computer systems and critical applications using just one password. The solution, delivered by Enline plc, has been implemented in conjunction with a programme to introduce Smartcards as a ‘strong authentication’ method, allowing Addenbrookes Hospital to achieve best practice in data assurance, improving both the security of its IT access controls and monitoring capabilities.
Telecommunication: Large Internet Provider
Enline were asked to support a large telecommunications organisation in the development of an external customer strategy so that the company could get a “single” view of the customer. Enline engaged across the business and delivered a strategy report that was then used to help define the companies long term customer strategy. Due to the quality of the report and Enline’s skills they were asked to support in the technology selection process.
